To join a PokéBonk clan, sign in to a registered account in the original game, open Clan, then follow the clan’s access rule: Join for an open clan, Request for approval, or accept an invitation in Mailbox. Guests must first save their progress to an account. Friends, clan membership and shared clan scores are available social systems; they do not establish a shared-arena co-op run.

The accounts and memberships described here belong to Charcher’s original game. This wiki does not create accounts, approve requests or operate a clan server. You can use our embedded original-game player to reach the game itself.

Before joining: account, Guest and existing progress

  1. In the original game, check whether you are signed in or playing as a Guest.
  2. If you are a Guest and want to keep that progress, use Save to account / Create account for the existing save. The Clan and Friends Guest screens direct you to account creation.
  3. Once signed in, open Clan from the original game’s menu. A member is taken to the clan page; a player without a clan can browse the available clans.
  4. Read the clan name, tag, membership count and access setting before taking an action. A full clan cannot accept a member just because an invitation or pending request exists.

Do these steps on the correct original-game account. A wiki page, a matching player name or a local copy of another PokéBonk project does not establish that account’s membership. If progress or sign-in looks wrong, start with saving and account checks before making another account.

Open, by request or invitation only: the exact next step

Clan access Action in the original game What happens next When joining is complete
Open Select Join, read the confirmation, then confirm Join The game sends the join action to the server The successful join message and your membership appear; an error or full-clan message is not a join
By request Select Request, optionally write a short introduction, then Send request A leader or officer must accept or reject it; the clan can display Pending After acceptance, not when the request is sent
Invitation only Ask a leader or officer to invite your registered trainer account; open Mailbox and accept the invitation The server processes the acceptance, subject to the current membership/capacity rules After the invitation is successfully accepted and membership appears

For request-based clans, the introduction is optional and the current input allows 120 characters. A short note about when you play or what you are looking for is enough. The request prompt says it lasts seven days, and you can withdraw it while pending. A leader or officer reviews those requests on the clan’s request panel; ordinary members do not automatically approve them.

Clan invitations also display a seven-day lifetime. Accept an invitation while it remains valid. A sent invitation does not reserve an unlimited place or mean the recipient is already a member. Read the actual rejection, expiry or capacity message if accepting fails.

Worked example: you select Request, send a message and return to a clan marked Pending. Your next action is to watch Mailbox for a decision or withdraw the request. Repeatedly treating Send request as a successful join will not change that state. For an invitation-only clan with no Request action, use the invitation route instead of searching for a hidden ordinary join button.

Use Mailbox for replies and invitations

The original game’s Mailbox is where clan replies, clan invitations and friendship requests arrive. Check the sender, clan or trainer name and action on the actual message. Accepting a friendship request and accepting a clan invitation have different results.

After a clan action, confirm the result in your clan page rather than inferring success from a notification alone. If a server message says the clan is full or the request is no longer valid, act on that condition: the leader may need to make room, or a new invitation may be needed after expiry. Refreshing this wiki cannot change the original game’s server decision.

Leaders can also publish clan announcements. The documented notice stays pinned on the clan page for seven days, reaches each member’s Mailbox and can be sent once per hour. That is a clan message feature, not an in-run command or a co-op invitation.

Add a friend, accept a request or invite a clan member

Friends require the same registered-account condition as Clans. The menu supports trainer-name requests, profile-based actions, incoming and outgoing requests, and online or last-seen status.

Send a friendship request by trainer name

  1. Open Friends in the original game’s menu.
  2. Under Add friend, enter the other trainer’s registered name. The interface can suggest matching trainers; choose the intended account.
  3. Press Send request. The normal result is a sent request delivered to that trainer’s Mailbox.
  4. Look under Sent requests for its pending state. Once the recipient accepts, the trainer appears under Your friends. A sent request alone is not mutual friendship.

You can also open another trainer’s profile and choose Add friend. The profile action changes to the relevant relationship state, such as Request sent, Accept friendship or Friends. In the HTTP-backed original game, Copy my profile link gives others a link from which they can request friendship with your account.

Accept, reject, withdraw or remove

  • Incoming request: use Accept or Reject from Received requests or the corresponding Mailbox/profile action. Acceptance makes the two accounts friends.
  • Outgoing request: use Withdraw if you no longer want to wait. It remains a request until accepted.
  • Existing friend: Remove ends that friendship after confirmation. A new request is needed to become friends again.
  • Find an existing friend: use the list search when shown, then inspect the online/last-seen indicator. Those indicators show account presence, not a promise that the person is available for a shared run.

The Invite to clan action appears for a player with the clan permission to invite, when the target is not already in a clan. The current permission check covers the leader/officer role. Choose that action, then have the recipient accept the clan invitation in Mailbox. Ordinary friendship does not automatically grant clan membership, and an ordinary member should not expect the same management controls as a leader or officer.

Worked example: a friend is online and appears in Your friends. If you are an officer and they have no clan, Invite to clan can send a membership invitation. They must accept it. Neither the online indicator nor that invitation creates an arena containing both characters.

How clan points work in Classic and Survival

Members play their own runs, and valid results contribute to the clan’s appropriate leaderboard. The mode changes what the scoring description counts.

Mode Documented clan scoring How to interpret it
Classic KOs, guardians, Alphas, legendaries and victories; higher rewards on Hard and Nightmare Completing a run’s objectives matters in addition to KOs; compare results within the appropriate mode/difficulty
Survival One point per KO and per second survived, plus milestones, Alphas and legendaries The mode has its own clan leaderboard; the survival-time and KO base is not the complete formula for every bonus

For example, 600 seconds survived with 800 KOs contributes 1,400 points from those two Survival base terms, before any milestone, Alpha or legendary additions and server validation. This illustrates the displayed one-plus-one rule, not a promise of an exact final scoreboard total.

A Survival milestone is not a Classic victory. Defeating Mewtwo at the nominal 45-minute milestone does not finish Survival or automatically grant a League member. The mode guide explains completion and record conditions; the legendary guide explains permanent recruitment.

If a result is pending review or rejected, do not count it as immediate ranked points. The game’s later 0.7.2 release notes describe removal of cheating records and added leaderboard protections; those public notes do not diagnose an individual account or every missing result. Use the original game’s current result message and the missing-results checks.

Can you play co-op with friends now?

The 0.7.1 social runtime documented here provides Friends, invitations, clans and combined scores. Its Friends screen labels playing together as coming soon. A clan invitation is therefore a membership action; the available flow does not establish a co-op lobby or a shared 3D run.

For later plans, pokebonk.org’s update report attributes an October 19 project announcement to Season 2 and places co-op after Season 2, with server stability part of the sequence. The report does not give an exact launch date. Treat this as an attributed plan, rather than a feature this guide has confirmed playable. The updates page keeps the broader season information together.

Before looking for a multiplayer code or lobby, check the version and actual available menu in the original game. Guides for a different game or a local PokéBonk modification can describe different social systems. The About page identifies the original project covered here.

If joining or adding a friend does not work

What you see What to check or do
Account-only / Create account You are a Guest; save progress to a registered original-game account
Request sent / Pending Wait for acceptance or withdraw it; sending is not joining
Invitation only Obtain an invitation from an authorized leader/officer and accept it in Mailbox
Clan full The clan needs available capacity; a request or invitation alone does not override it
Friend request not accepted yet Check Sent requests and the intended trainer name; the other account must accept
No Invite to clan button Check your clan role and whether the target already belongs to a clan
Friends list works but there is no shared arena The documented system is friendship and clan membership; follow the co-op release status above
Server or loading error Preserve the message, version and relevant account/clan name; retry the original game later and use troubleshooting for connection symptoms

Sources and version scope

Account restrictions, membership states, seven-day clan requests/invitations, Friends actions, notices and scoring statements were read from the original Beta 0.7.1 public runtime and English interface, reviewed 19 October 2026. They establish the documented UI workflow and permission checks, not a recorded account creation, clan join or invitation acceptance by this site.

The later co-op sequence is explicitly attributed to pokebonk.org’s October 19 update report; this guide does not claim to have independently read the underlying Discord message or played the planned mode. See updates for the current release-history context and About for this independent wiki’s role.
